Kenneth Arnold : Genesis of US UFO Sightings

Kenneth Arnold reported the first post-WW2 UFO sightings in the US in 1947. He saw 9 UFOs blazing through the sky near Mount Rainer at approximately 1,200 mph.

Cops are trained observers and typically have little to nothing to gain from fabricating stories of this caliber. This incident is one of the more compelling I've come across. Physical evidence of the encounter remains to this day.

Pentagon releases documents on the Tic Tac UFO

2 Navy AIrmen spotted and encountered a Tic Tac shaped UFO in 2004 near the USS Nimitz that is still unexplained to this day. The craft defied laws of physics that we believe to be true and definitely did not match any known military craft.

Britain's Roswell:

The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident has perhaps the greatest number of highly-trained eye witnesses. Two USAF officers touched a UFO at a top-secret US military base in Britain. Recently, it has come out that RAF Woodbridge housed nuclear weapons -- continuing the pattern of UFO sightings near these highly destructive missiles.

Last year, a SAS officer came forward to claim the incident was a hoax on the USAF. Once you've read the summary of events, I think you can conclude this explanation just doesn't make any sense -- "For his article, Dr Clarke interviewed an SAS sniper active at the time of the incident, and the US Base Commander at the time of the incident, Colonel Ted Conrad, both of whom regard this 'prank' claim as highly implausible because of security considerations."

Japan Air Lines flight 1628 incident

Mid 1980s a Japanese pilot, had a multi-hour documented encounter with a UFO, that broke off into several smaller UFOs that surrounded his plane. He was told by both Japanese and American intelligence agencies not to disclose what he saw, at risk of his entire career.

1976 Tehran UFO incident

During the incident, two Iranian Air Force F-4 Phantom II jet interceptors reported losing instrumentation and communications as they approached the object. These were restored upon withdrawal. A military spy satellite also recorded this incident. The DSP-1 satellite detected an infrared anomaly during the time of this event that lasted for about an hour.
